I stare at the dancing light..I stare at the dancing light.

My eyes start to prick with tears.

I had only wanted to save her.

I turn my back on the fast rising flames.

I wanted to turn my back on everything.

But I went straight back to the bedlam.

The craziness that was our life.

I wished so badly that I could have saved her.

But I just sat and waited for her to die.

Too useless; they didn't need me.

I couldn't save her.

The silent stalker death, was always following quietly behind,

Biding his time.

Waiting for the perfect moment to strike.

And he did, taking someone we weren't even watching die;

Tricking us all.

Taken in Missouri. One of the many sunsets I saw there. Its kind of fuzzy but it's the best my camera could do I guess.
